This annual event is named after Justice Jorge Labarga, the first Cuban American to lead the state judicial branch. Justice Labarga serves as the event's guest host each year and presents a Leadership Award to a member of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association. This year's event will be an evening gala with dinner, dancing and live entertainment in addition to the awards ceremony.
This year's honorees will be Victoria Mesa (Justice Labarga Leadership Award) and Jerry Leakey (Member of the Year Award).
