HOUSING LAW ATTORNEY:
Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. is accepting applications for a Housing Law attorney. The Housing Law attorney provides advice and representation to tenants and/or homeowners who are being displaced through eviction or foreclosure. The attorney will practice in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. The position’s duties include conducting civil lawsuits, drafting legal documents, advising clients as to legal rights, and practicing other phases of housing law. Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work. Travel in Palm Beach, Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Hendry counties required.
There are also have openings for a paralegal for the veterans program and housing program.
